Air Intake is a part of vehicle engine That to bring Air into a car combution internal engine. air intake can be increase engine power and efficiency of engine vehicle. Inside air intakes system may have an air filter so it can protect your carburettor from unnecessary particle like dust. without it some engine may have lower age because some particle can insert into combustion chamber and may damage the buttress of piston(engine cylinder).
Custom Vs Standard
a basic fact: combustion engine need some oxygen to continues their combustion process, in first process air will past the dirt trapping (dust filter), dirt trapping will remove any unnecessary particle and hold them on their dirt trapping paper.
Standard air filter have smaller size. they designed for filtered a dust only so they need any custom setting and we only do a small maintenance simply as open the cab and shoot with air nozzle to filter.
On Custom Air Intakes it will be more difficult to maintenance. depend on air intakes type cool air intakes, Warm air intakes, etc.
Custom air intakes can increase the vehicle performance but the consequences are the engine noise may be increase too. many custom air intakes product designed to give easier for airflow so the engine performance increase, the power increase too, and so do with the noise.
